The Guide

A field guide to the quiet months.

How to tell whether your pipeline is a system or a network, what to measure, and what the buyer map looks at. Read it here. There is nothing to download.

ISymptoms

You probably know the signs already.

The sales team is busy after a show and restless a few weeks later. Forecasts lean on the words "should" and "hopefully". The best months are the ones where someone made an introduction you did not ask for. New hires spend their first stretch waiting for leads instead of working them.

None of that means the company is weak. It usually means the company is good enough that the network has carried it this far. The network just has no throttle.

IIDiagnosis

Ask three questions of every conversation.

Take the opportunities your team worked recently and tag each one honestly.

  • OriginWhich door did it come through: outbound, content, referral or paid?
  • TriggerDid we start it, or did someone else start it for us?
  • RepeatabilityCould we make another one like it next week on purpose?

If almost every answer reads referral, someone else, and no, you have found the source of the quiet months. You run one input, and you do not hold its controls.

IIIDesign

What a working channel needs.

A channel is a set of parts that has to exist before anything flows. A named buyer, written down. A reason that buyer would care this quarter. A message built from research on that one person. A human who reads it before it leaves. A record of what happened, so the next message is better than the last.

Volume is not a design. Relevance is.

Content and search follow the same logic. Write the answers your buyers are already asking for, publish them where they look, and make sure the AI assistants they now ask for shortlists can find and cite you.

IVThe map

What your buyer map shows.

We read your company from the outside, the way a buyer would. Then we write you a short, plain map: which inputs are live, which sit idle, which one would move first if it were switched on, and where it would plug into the way your team already sells.

It is a reading, not a proposal. You can act on it with us, with someone else, or on your own.
